A large river
  • A river represents God’s love flowing from Him to us and back to Him.
  • The rain is like God’s mercy, and the sea represents God, and the river is where the love flows to us.
  • Large rivers represent the Manifestations.
  • Small rivers represent priests or learned Bahá’ís.
  • Tiny streams represent people.
  • Canals represent very strong people with no love.
  • The creatures in rivers represent all the people the being who the river represents knows.
  • The plants represent the spiritual life of that being.
  • People crossing the river represent people in higher worlds spiritually crossing the path of that being.
  • The banks of the river represent the being’s relationship with God.
  • Obstacles and pollution represent the tests and difficulties of that being.
  • Reflections on the river represent the being reflecting the other worlds.
