The four fundamental forces or interactions in physics (see Wikipedia for more detail) are the gravitational force, the electromagnetic force, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force.
These forces are to the mineral kingdom what love is to the human kingdom. This means that they way they influence material things teaches us about how love influences us.
Gravity represents the form of love that pulls people together.
