There is a continuum between science and religion. In science, humans attempt to understand the world. In religion, people renounce themselves and turn to God, who understands the world. Each of us is somewhere on this continuum: we rely on our own understanding and God’s understanding to different degrees.
One of the purposes of these articles is to join humanity’s scientific understanding of the world to God’s understanding as explained in the Bahá’í Teachings, as explained in the article Why?. This is with the goal of realising this quote from ‘Abdu’l-Bahá:
